	Every year, a bunch of grasshoppers come to the anthill and eat what the ants have gathered for them. The "offering", as the ants call the ritual, is a part of their fate. The grasshoppers come and give the ants a second chance to collect food until fall. Flik sets off to find bugs that are willing to fight the grasshoppers (nobody expects him to succeed anyway) and, due to a double misinterpretation, returns with a circus crew, giving everybody new hope. When the misunderstanding finally gets cleared out, there is only little time left for a new plan, which has to work, or else...

And, although she was supposed to be Pelayo's girlfriend, he tried to conquer her, spending that night at her home. But Nuria, with whom Cesar had his last affair, was very jealous; he went to pick him up in her car the next morning, and commited suicide by ramming it into a tree. Cesar survived the crash, but his face was hideously disfigured, his beauty gone. The doctors said they couldn't help him. He was very depressed, and still in love with Sofia. One night he went out with her and Pelayo, and he felt that they were very uncomfortable with him. But the morning after, his luck seemed to change completely: Sofia came to him, saying that it was him who she really loved, and the doctors called him and told him that, with a revolutionary new technique, they could rebuild his face, which they did. Cesar was happier than ever; but that's when the really strange and scary things started to happen, and Cesar found out that the real nightmare had only just began for him...

Για το λόγο αυτό άλλωστε και η ταινία αυτή που κινείται ανάμεσα στo film noir και την επιστημονική φαντασία έγραψε τη δική της ξεχωριστή κινηματογραφική ιστορία, ίσως όχι τόσο για το story αυτό καθαυτό αλλά κυρίως για τον τρόπο γραφής που έχει να επιδείξει. Λος Aντζελες 2019. Ο άνθρωπος αναπτύσσοντας τεχνολογία δημιούργησε ανθρωπόμορφα ρομπότ «τα ανδροειδή» ανθρώπινοι κλώνοι με περιορισμένο πεδίο ζωής που στάλθηκαν σε αποικίες εκτός της γης. Ο Harrison Ford είναι ο Rick Deckard, ένας συνταξιούχος αστυνομικός ειδικός στην εξόντωση ανδροειδών. Η ταινία μέσα από την πλοκή που αναπτύσσει καταπιάνεται έμμεσα με υπαρξιακά ερωτήματα και φιλοσοφικές αναζητήσεις σχετικά με το τι σημαίνει τελικά το να είσαι άνθρωπος ή ποια είναι η αξία της ανθρώπινης ζωής, χωρίς να πέφτει όμως στις γνώριμες και εύκολες εκδοχές αντίστοιχων ταινιών επιστημονικής φαντασίας. Αν και το 1982 που πρωτοβγήκε στις αίθουσες δε σημείωσε τρομερή επιτυχία το ενδιαφέρον για την συγκεκριμένη ταινία σταδιακά όλο και αυξανόταν και σήμερα πλέον θεωρείται κλασσική.

Until now... Based on the true story of the Beast of the Gevaudan that terrorised France in the mid-XVIIIth century, the movie aims to tell first and explain afterwards. In the first part, a special envoy of the King of France, altogether biologist, explorer and philosopher, arrives in the Gevaudan region, in the mountainous central part of France. The Beast has been attacking women and children for months and nobody has quite been able to harm it or even take a good look at it. In the second part, our hero Chevalier de Fronsac will not only have to fight the Beast, but also ignorance, bigotry and conspiracy and will rely on two women, one an aristocrat, the other a prostitute, as well as the enigmatic Mani, an Iroquois he met in New-France (Canada).

Ο Ράσελ Κρόου δίνει τον καλύτερο εαυτό του μέσα σε μία πλειάδα ηθοποιών που υπερβάλλουν εαυτούς με τις ερμηνείες τους. Με χιλιάδες κομπάρσους και χωρίς την -κόντρα στο ρεύμα της εποχής- σημαντική συμβολή των υπολογιστών, αλλά με τα ανθρώπινα συναισθήματα ως κυρίαρχο στοιχείο, ο Μονομάχος αποτελεί όχι μόνο τη μοναδική ταινία του είδους της τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες, αλλά και ένα σημείο αναφοράς για τους νεότερους φίλους του κινηματογράφου που δεν είχαν την τύχη να δουν τέτοιες ταινίες στη μεγάλη οθόνη παρά μόνο στην τηλεοπτική τους έκδοση. Και αυτή μοιάζει πολύ μικρή για να συγκρατήσει το μεγαλείο τέτοιων ταινιών. Σίγουρα το Gladiator δε φτάνει στα επίπεδα του Σπάρτακου ή άλλων παλιών ταινιών εποχής, αλλά είναι από τις ταινίες που έχουν τη δυνατότητα ακόμα και να δημιουργήσουν νέους φίλους για τον κινηματογράφο. Δίπλα στον μεγάλο πρωταγωνιστή Ράσελ Κρόου, ο Γιοακίν Φοίνιξ δίνει μια πραγματικά ανεπανάληπτη ερμηνεία, που σίγουρα ο ίδιος αλλά και ο κόσμος του κινηματογράφου θα θυμάται για πολλά χρόνια ακόμα. Η Κόνι Νίλσεν ξεδιπλώνει το ταλέντο της υποδυόμενη το συνδετικό κρίκο ανάμεσα στους δύο, ενώ η παρουσία του Ρίτσαρντ Χάρις στο ρόλο του Αυτοκράτορα Μάρκου Αυρήλιου μπορεί να είναι μικρή σε διάρκεια αλλά τόσο ισχυρή ερμηνευτικά και σεναριακά που «σκεπάζει» ολόκληρη την ταινία. Αξίζει να αναφέρουμε ότι την ταινία συνοδεύει ένα θλιβερό γεγονός, καθώς ο μεγάλος ηθοποιός Όλιβερ Ριντ πέθανε πριν ολοκληρωθούν τα γυρίσματα και έτσι δεν πρόλαβε να δει την ταινία να σημειώνει τεράστια επιτυχία (και όχι μόνο εισπρακτική) σε ολόκληρο τον κόσμο. Αδιαμφισβήτητα πρόκειται για την ταινία της χρονιάς, που προκαλεί έκπληξη με την ταυτόχρονη κυκλοφορία της σε dvd περιοχής 1 και 2, κάτι που συμβαίνει για πρώτη φορά. Αυτό όμως δεν είναι το μοναδικό που μας προσφέρει η ταινία για πρώτη φορά. Η κυκλοφορία αποτελείται από 2 (!) δισκάκια, στο πρώτο από τα οποία περιέχεται η ταινία. Η εικόνα του dvd είναι μία από τις καλύτερες σε ποιότητα που έχουμε δει με πολύ καθαρά χρώματα, ενώ ο ήχος, που εκτός από dolby digital υπάρχει και σε φορμάτ DTS στο ίδιο δισκάκι, είναι πραγματικά συγκλονιστικός. Αρκεί κάποιος να δει (και να ακούσει) την πρώτη σκηνή με τη μάχη στη Γερμανία, στην οποία πραγματικά ο ήχος τσακίζει κόκαλα, για να πειστεί για του λόγου το αληθές. Η μουσική του Χανς Ζίμερ, χωρίς να είναι κάτι το εκπληκτικό, δένει απόλυτα με το ύφος της ταινίας ενώ τα ειδικά εφέ θα ταρακουνήσουν από την πολυθρόνα του οποιονδήποτε την παρακολουθήσει. Το δεύτερο δισκάκι περιέχει αποκλειστικά έξτρα υλικό, η χρονική διάρκεια του οποίου ξεπερνάει τις 4 ώρες! Πρόκειται φυσικά για τη μεγαλύτερη και πληρέστερη παραγωγή σε dvd περιοχής 2. Όπως πάντα, τα πρόσθετα δεν είναι υποτιτλισμένα στα ελληνικά, αλλά με την ποιότητα και την ποσότητά τους, και με τις σκηνές από τα γυρίσματα να κλέβουν την παράσταση, αποτελούν έναν οδηγό πλέον για όλες τις μελλοντικές παραγωγές, Πρόκειται για μία ταινία που πρέπει να δείτε, αλλά και για ένα τίτλο dvd που δεν πρέπει να λείπει από καμία συλλογή.

The Dursleys, strong disbelievers in that magical crap, never told Harry anything about his true self. So, Harry is strongly surprised, yet absolutely happy to start his training. At Hogwarts, Harry meets his teachers, and becomes friends with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. The three of them accidentally find out that the potions master, Severus Snape, seems to plot on stealing something that is guarded by a three-headed dog. Since nobody would believe some first years to have found out such important things that even would incriminate a Hogwarts teacher, they take it on themselves to find out what Snape is up to. Their quest for the truth leads across many obstacles, from keeping up the everyday school life, a bewitched Quidditch match (Quidditch is a popular wizard sport), Fluffy, the three-headed monster dog and quite some tasks one has to overcome to get to the guarded object.

The second is "Den" which chronicles the adventures of a nerdish boy who is thrown into the fantasy world of Neverwhere where he is transformed into a studly naked muscle-man desired by beautiful women who must get involved in a conflict revolving around possession of the Locnar. The third is "Captain Stern" where the title character is a handsome but irredeemable scoundrel who stands accused in a trial that Locnar throws into chaos. The fourth is "B-17" where a World War II bomber plane limps home after a bombing run only to have the Locnar ram into it and revive the dead crew-members as murderous zombies. The next is "So Beautiful, So Dangerous" where a boxum secretary at the Pentagon is abducted by stoned alien wastrels and a oversexed robot. The final story is "Tarrna", where the Locnar has to come to a future Earth and changes a peaceful people into a horde of murderous barbarians who rampage with genocidal zeal. Only the last Tarackian, a silent swords-woman known as Tarrna, can avenge the victims and stop the Locnar.

Things get even more interesting when they both run into Myung who was a past lover of each at one time or another. The first three parts of the series have been released already and the fourth is pending.

	During the Napoleonic Wars, a British frigate, HMS Surprise, and a much larger French warship, the Acheron, with greater fire power, stalk each other off of the coast of South America. Russell Crowe brings great intensity to the role of Captain Jack Aubrey. Lucky Jack, as he is referred to by his crew, is well regarded by his men, who trust him implicitly, even after the first devastating battle and an apparent personal vendetta against the French captain. While the naval battle sequences are quite fantastic, the film is successful because director Weir chose to build the story to get to know the men who are locked aboard the tight quarters of a small ship and how they interact everyday. The officers and the mates are well-known by the time the final battle comes. Paul Bettany offers a strong performance as the surgeon and naturalist who balances the violence of his chosen life with the quiet demeanor of the scientist. He is the captain's friend and confidant, the two frequently playing violin and cello duets together. The horrors of the injuries from the war are frequently implied, but vividly depicted in the reactions of the characters.

Ο John Kelso (John Cusack) είναι ένας νεαρός συγγραφέας από τη Νέα Υόρκη που πηγαίνει στη Σαβάνα για να καλύψει δημοσιογραφικά ένα από τα πιο σημαντικά και glam events της πόλης, το πάρτι των Χριστουγέννων. Το κοινωνικό γεγονός της πόλης οργανώνει κάθε χρόνο ο Jim Williams (Kevin Spacey), ένας από τους πιο πλούσιους και ευυπόληπτους πολίτες της Σαβάνα. Later, a wannabe actress named Betty arrives in Los Angeles and takes a cab to the apartment complex her Aunt Ruth lives in. There, she meets Coco (Ann Miller), the manager of the apartment complex. She takes Betty to her Aunt's room (her aunt being away, she is letting Betty stay there). Once Coco leaves, Betty finds Rita hiding in there. Rita eventually tells Betty about her amnesia and the two try to figure out who she is. In another part of Los Angeles, a man named Adam Kesher, a film director, is being conned into hiring a specific actress for his new movie by a pair of brothers named Luigi and Vincezno Castigliane (apparently mafia types). He refuses and returns home, to find his wife in bed with a cleaner. The cleaner beats Adam up, and Adam goes to stay at a hotel. When he's there, he finds the the Castigliane brothers have evaporated all his money resources, and he has only enough for one night.

Βρισκόμαστε σε μία φυλακή του αμερικάνικου Νότου το 1935. Το Πράσινο Μίλι είναι το όνομα του διαδρόμου που βρίσκεται στην πτέρυγα των μελλοθάνατων και οδηγεί στο δωμάτιο με την ηλεκτρική καρέκλα. Ο υπεύθυνος της φυλακής Τζον Έιτζκομπ (Τομ Χανκς), προσπαθεί να δώσει σεβασμό στους κρατούμενους που περνάνε εκεί τις τελευταίες μέρες της ζωής τους. Όλα κυλάνε πολύ αργά, μέχρι που μια μέρα ένας διαφορετικός κρατούμενος φτάνει στη φυλακή. Soon into their adventure they discover that the Fantom is behind these attacks, but there is more to this war than battle and cunning.

	Βρισκόμαστε στη δεκαετία του 1920 και μία ομάδα αρχαιολόγων με οδηγό έναν τυχοδιώκτη (Fraser) ταξιδεύουν στην Αίγυπτο για να ανακαλύψουν τη Χαμουνάπτρα, την αρχαία Πόλη των Νεκρών, στην οποία οι Φαραώ αποθήκευαν τον πλούτο της Αιγύπτου. Στην προσπάθειά τους όμως για μεγάλες αρχαιολογικές ανακαλύψεις, απελευθερώνουν ένα πλάσμα που ήταν φυλακισμένο κάτω από την άμμο για 30 αιώνες. Ο σκοπός τους πλέον μετατρέπεται από την αρχαιολογική εξερεύνηση σε μία μάχη για την επιβίωση. Η ταινία είναι remake του κλασικού φιλμ του 1932, προσαρμοσμένη βέβαια στις ανάγκες της εποχής και τα γούστα του Χόλιγουντ. Η αλήθεια είναι ότι αν και η ταινία αρχικά προοριζόταν για καθαρή ταινία περιπέτειας και τρόμου, το τελικό αποτέλεσμα θα απογοητεύσει όποιον είναι προετοιμασμένος κάτι τέτοιο. Την ταινία περιβάλλει μία σκοτεινή ατμόσφαιρα που ταιριάζει απόλυτα στην ιστορία, η οποία όμως διαταράσσεται σε τακτά διαστήματα από τις προσπάθειες αποφόρτισης της έντασης με χιουμοριστικές ατάκες ή σκηνές. Γεγονός είναι ότι μερικές από αυτές είναι άκρως επιτυχημένες, αλλά σε τελική ανάλυση η ταινία πιθανώς να γνώριζε μεγαλύτερη επιτυχία αν οι συγκεκριμένες σκηνές απουσίαζαν. Δε μπορεί να πει κανείς ότι οι ηθοποιοί πραγματοποιούν ιδιαίτερα αξιόλογες ερμηνείες, αλλά η ταινία ξεχωρίζει για τα εντυπωσιακά εφέ της, με τη μούμια και τους σκαραβαίους να κλέβουν την παράσταση, ενώ εξαιρετικά είναι και τα εφέ με την άμμο αλλά και οι σκηνές με τις 10 πληγές.

Η ιστορία όμως θέλει νέες διαμάχες να ξεσπούν, μια νέα επανάσταση ετοιμάζεται, αυτή τη φορά εναντίον των ?γγλων. Αφοσιωμένος στην οικογένεια του, με αυξημένες ευθύνες από τη στιγμή που έχασε την γυναίκα του, ο Martin δεν έχει καμία όρεξη να επιστρέψει στο πολεμικό μέτωπο. Τα πράγματα θα πάρουν επικίνδυνη τροπή όταν ο Gabriel γυρνά τραυματισμένος από μια μάχη. Το κλίμα επιβαρύνεται και καθώς ο κίνδυνος είναι πλέον άμεσος για όλους ο Martin αποφασίζει να αρνηθεί τους όρκους του και να επιστρέψει στο πεδίο της μάχης.

Charles's playboy nephew George follows to the resort in an attempt to steal it and blame it on "The Phantom", not knowing that it's his uncle. On the Phantom's trail is Inspector Jacques Clouseau, from France, and his wife who, unknowingly to Jacques, is the lover of Charles and helper in the Phantom's crime. Jacques tries to stop the attempts but he is so clueless that when several attempts are made at a fantasy-dress party, Jacques looks everywhere but the right place... 2. A Shot In The Dark - Λαγωνικό 24ων Καρατίων When rich M. Ballon's spanish driver is found shot dead, Inspector Jacques Clouseau is the first official on the scene. All evidence suggests Maria Gambrelli, the maid, to be the murderer. But Clouseau, being attracted to the beautiful girl, is convinced that she is hiding something. So, he has her released from jail and tries to follow her secretly. Things do not work out the way the inspector wanted and people keep being murdered, and each time innocent Maria seems to be the killer. But with someone important wanting Clouseau and nobody else to cover this case, his tolerance-challenged boss Charles Dreyfuss is close to losing his mind when casualties keep turning up. And Clouseau keeps on causing trouble without knowing it. 3. The Pink Panther Strikes Again - Ο Ροζ Πάνθηρας Ξαναχτυπά Charles Dreyfuss, the Chief Inspector of the Surete and superior of Inspector Clouseau was last seen in the previous movie, suffering a breakdown cause of Clouseau's torment. He decides to try and kill him but fails and was last seen confined to a mental asylum. This movie begins three years later, Dreyfuss' doctors think is well enough to be released but before he is, Clouseau visits him and agitates him into killing him, so he's not released. But he escapes and tries to kill clouseau but fails. He then decides to recruit some of the best criminals in the world, and then kidnaps a noted English scientist and creates a device that can destroy the world. After using it, his only demand is Clouseau. So every country in the world sends their best assassins to kill him but fail. And Clouseau tries to find Dreyfuss before he does any more damage. 4. Revenge Of Pink Panther - Η Εκδίκηση Του Ροζ Πάνθηρα The French Syndicate has a pending deal with the Americans but the Americans want to pull out. But Douvier, the head of the French says that all the arrangements have been concluded. But the Americans feel that Douvier is no longer as powerful as he once was. Douvier then tells them that to prove that he is still powerful, he will do something to get their attention. He then consults with his asociates for possible acts he could perform. Then one of his people suggest that he eliminate Inspector Clouseau. He tries but Clouseau is just too difficult to kill. He then tries to ambush Clouseau but a thief took his car and clothes, so the thief was the one who was killed but everyone believes that it was Clouseau. Clouseau after being mistaken for a lunatic and being sent to mental hospital, escapes and tries to find out who tried to kill him. 5. Trail Of The Pink Panther - Στα Ίχνη Του Ροζ Πάνθηρα Sixth in the Pink Panther series. The Pink Panther diamond is stolen once again from Lugash and the authorities call in Chief Inspector Clouseau from France. His plane disappears en-route. This time, famous French TV reporter Marie Jouvet sets out to solve the mystery and starts to interview everybody connected to Clouseau. Each interviewee Dreyfus, Sir Charles & Lady Lytton (and ex-wife of Clouseau) & George Lytton, Hercule Lajoie (assistant in "A Shot In The Dark") and Cato tells of their run-ins with Clouseau. She is also kidnapped by mobster Bruno Langlois who doesn't want Clouseau found but she continues and finds Clouseau Sr, Clouseau's father. Is Clouseau alive or is he dead? Each interview has unshown or famous clips from the previous movies (since Peter Sellers has sadly passed away) as Marie continues to get a honest view or impression of the great French detective.
